Bird-Kultgen Ford is excited to announce the winner of the Shepherd’s Heart Mustang Raffle!

This 50th-anniversary Mustang was raffled off to help raise funds for Shepherd’s Heart, one of the most impactful Food Pantries in Central Texas. The purchase of one raffle ticket, for $25.00, enabled Shepherd’s Heart to secure over 200lbs of food.

On October 7th, the winner was announced. Bird-Kultgen surprised, Kelly Oliver at work and handed him the keys of the Mustang.

Bird-Kultgen Ford, has been working with Shepherd’s Heart for the past couple of years but this year has been especially difficult for the non-profit. “This year with COVID-19, Shepherd’s Heart was in a greater need due to the overwhelming amount of unemployment and families struggling in Waco.” said Rebeeca Cantu, Marketing Manager for Bird-Kultgen.

Shepherd’s Heart serves over 29,000 local families through both the Food Pantry and provided services, and now during the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for food has increased and put a huge burden on the non-profit. Bird-Kultgen Ford and Shepherd’s Heart launched a raffle in May to help meet the growing demand in the community. They raised over $68,000 through this fundraiser.

“The best part about working with Shepherd’s Heart is that were able to help local families and help get them through this troubling time.” said Cantu.
