Thanks to the introduction of the Bronco Sport, Ford has redesigned the 2023 Ford Escape to complement it’s Off-Road sister. Gone are the familiar S, SE, SEL, and Titanium trims in favor of a new speedy lineup that now includes Active, ST-Line, and Platinum models. Featuring four distinct powertrain options, including the 1.5L EcoBoost I-3, the 2.0L EcoBoost I-4, the 2.5L Atkinson-cycle hybrid, and the 2.5L Atkinson-cycle plug-in hybrid, as well as a quality, comfortable interior, the Escape gives you a vehicle you can peacefully escape in.
Power
With four Selectable Drive Modes, including Normal, Sport, Eco, and Slippery, the 2023 Ford Escape makes your drive more eco-friendly and efficient. The all-new PHEV Premium package also offers a 2.5L Atkinson-cycle plug-in hybrid engine mated to an eCVT automatic transmission, so it can operate on all-electric power with impressive range and is easily charged at home in a 120V outlet. The EcoBoost models even feature Intelligent All Wheel Drive with AWD Disconnect, which disconnects the rear driveline, using only the front wheels to propel the vehicle when AWD is not needed.
Convenience
Lined with Second-Row Sliding Seats, the Ford Escape makes your drive more comfortable and convenient for the entire family. An additional 5.9- inches of legroom can be added by sliding back the 60/40 split-fold seats, or folding down the seats can give your family extra cargo space. Added technology, such as Active Park Assist 2.0, simplifies parking, allowing you to squeeze into even the tightest spaces, and is all displayed on the 8-inch Center-Stack Color LCD Touchscreen for a modern and easy design.
Design
With three new lineup options, the Escape stands out among the crowd. Detailed with roof-rack rails and 18-inch Rock Metallic-painted aluminum wheels, the unique ST-Line modernizes the traditional SUV interior and includes eight available exterior color options, such as Atlas Blue Metallic, Cinnabar Red Metallic, and Vapor Blue Metallic. The ST-Line Select includes premium tech features such as a Remote Start System and LED fog lamps, and with rain-sensing wipers and SecuriCode Invisible Keypad, the ST-Line Elite makes your next road trip simple and easy.
