Breast Cancer Awareness at BK Ford - Join the Fight

2019-BK-Breast-Cancer-FB-Ad
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month which ignites a worldwide wave of rosy pink in an effort to increase awareness of the disease as well as fund research efforts to combat it. BK Ford is taking time this month to do our part in the fight against breast cancer. All month long we’ll be: - Wearing pink around the dealership - Making over our Social Media accounts to feature our pink logo and awareness ribbons - Putting pink Bird-Kultgen license plates on all of our vehicles - Participating in the Waco Race for the Cure now known as the More Than Pink Walk that supports breast cancer research According to healthfinder.gov, Breast cancer is one of the most common kinds of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. Currently there is insufficient knowledge on the causes of breast cancer, therefore, early detection of the disease remains the cornerstone of breast cancer control. The good news is that most women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s most receptive to treatment. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of detecting breast cancer early. Here are some ideas on how you can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer: - Support select foundations that help those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services. - Encourage your friends, family and coworkers to wear pink and make a donation - Test drive an F-150 or even a 2020 Explorer with pink BK license plate, and tag BK Ford on Facebook explaining what Breast Cancer Awareness month means to you - Organize a workplace or social raffle with special pink prizes wherein all monies earned from raffle tickets are donated to breast cancer research - Spread the word about mammograms, and encourage communities, organizations, families, and individuals to get involved - Sponsor a male coworker to do something daring in pink – the bigger the sponsored donation, the more creative the outfit! Breast Cancer Awareness month reaches beyond wearing pink. It’s following through with actionable choices that increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment, as well as palliative care, of individuals with this disease. BK Ford supports those who have been impacted by breast cancer, and we encourage our fellow community members to help us raise awareness about the importance of detecting breast cancer early.

Bronco Reveal Watch Party

In case you missed it, we had a fantastic event for the new 2021 Bronco reveal at Bird-Kultgen Ford. Ford launched the sixth generation of the Bronco on July 13 at 8 p.m. ET. Ford partnered with Disney to stream the reveal on ABC, ESPN, the National Geographic channel — as well as on Ford's YouTube account. more In anticipation of the reveal, we invited local Bronco enthusiasts to join us for a Watch Party. Each of them brought their classic Broncos by the showroom and allowed us to tour them for a Facebook Live broadcast as we counted down to the reveal on live TV.During the Live event, we gave away some cool Bronco merchandise and played trivia. Here are a few fun Bronco trivia facts: The original code name for the Bronco project was G.O.A.T. G.O.A.T is an abbreviation for Goes Over Any-type of Terrain (all new Broncos will have GOAT capabilities) The 2021 Bronco will be the 6th Generation of Bronco In 1969, Bronco won the legendary Baja 1000, and is still the only production vehile to do so All Broncos are Built Wild™ in Wayne, MI and the new Bronco Sport will be built in Hermosillo, Mexico. We loved sharing the Bronco reveal with our followers and look forward to taking you on a test drive of the Bronco Sport when it arrives this Winter and the Bronco (2-door and 4-door) when it arrives in the Spring. If you are as excited as we are for the Bronco, you can reserve your Bronco today. Your refundable $100 deposit saves your model selection and reserves you a spot.
