Sales Consultant

Duties

  • Meet and greet customers, guide them through our needs assessment processes
  • Fully explain products, benefits, and features of vehicles and dealership
  • Utilize customer management system and follow up processes
  • Provide exemplary customer service and build customer relationships
  • Work closely with our team of sales managers, BDC, and sales consultants
  • Maintain appropriate levels of product knowledge and sales training
  • Prepare and deliver sold vehicles to customers, ensure they know how to operate all features
  • Introduce customers to service department, body shop, and Quick Lane
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

  • Good driving record and current license
  • Excellent verbal abilities with sales focus
  • Basic computer skills including internet based web applications and email
  • Sales experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent ethical and professional standards
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Professional appearance

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college or college degree preferred

Quick Lane Automotive Technician

Want to be part of our winning team? Bird Kultgen is looking for an experienced, friendly, self motivated individual to join our Quick Lane team. As technician, you will use mechanical skills to perform maintenance and get customers back out on the road as quickly as possible!

Duties

  • Perform vehicle maintenance
  • Examine vehicle and determine if further work is required or recommended
  • Drain oil from crankcase and refill with proper type and about of oil, replace oil and fuel filters
  • Inspect fluid and air pressure levels, replace as needed
  • Ensure that customers' vehicles are kept clean
  • Maintain shop in very neat and clean manner
  • Maintain and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and operate all equipment in a safe manner
  • Participate in Ford training programs, schools, and events
  • Document all work performed on the repair order and complete Multi-Point Inspection
  • Work closely with our team of service managers
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • 6 months of related experience preferred

Collision Center Repair Technician

Want to be part of our winning team? Bird Kultgen is looking for a friendly, energetic, self motivated individual to join our collision repair center in a full time position. As a CRC technician, you will use your automotive repair skills to get customers back out on the road in their repaired rides!

Duties

  • Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
  • Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received
  • Prepares vehicles for body repair work
  • Work with our team of experienced managers (38 and 41 years), very experienced technicians, and helpers

Skills

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Attention to detail, organized, superior time management

Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Valid Driver's License

- Examine vehicle and determine if further work is required or recommended and assist service writers in selling needed services
- Drain oil from crankcase and refill with proper type and about of oil, replace oil and fuel filters
- Inspect fluid and air pressure levels, replace as needed
- Ensures that customers' vehicles are kept clean
- Maintain shop in very neat and clean manner
- Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and operates all equipment in a safe manner, report any safety issues immediately to management
- Coordinate with service advisors
- Participate in Ford training programs, schools, and events
- Document all work performed on the repair order
- Work closely with our team of service managers
- Other duties as assigned

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
- 6 months of related experience preferred

Collision Repair Center Manager

The collision repair center manager is responsible for the reputation, efficiency, and profitability of the collision repair center. Large, high tech modern metal repair and paint facility with excellent team of experienced technicians and estimator. Duties
    •    Oversee daily operations including workflow through the body and paint departments
    •    Control profits and expenses, build a loyal clientele, maintain good employee relations,
    •    Mirror standards and enforces policies set by the leadership
    •    Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them
    •    Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all collision employees
    •    Establish and maintain good working relationships with insurance adjusters
    •    Monitor technician productivity reports and corresponding payroll records
    •    Monitor progress of vehicles in the shop
    •    Ensure that proper repair and safety procedures are followed
    •    Handle customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's standards
    •    Control accounts receivables for body repair work
    •    Ensure that proper safety equipment is available and being used properly
    •    Facilitate, conduct, and maintain employee technical training
    •    Keep abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommend improvements

Education and Skill Requirements
    •    Enjoy working with people, working around cars and trucks, and leadership
    •    Able to make decisions and respond quickly to unexpected situations
    •    Excellent leader, mediator, and team player
    •    Self-confidence, self-motivation, integrity, and good work ethics
    •    Business management skills necessary to understand and manage all the operations in a collision repair center
