The 2021 Ford Super Duty F-series range of trucks offers awesome power and capability. Whether you're hauling work gear or towing a trailer on a weekend adventure, there's a Super Duty truck for you. Choose from the F-250, F-350, or F-450 and one of six trim levels.
Trim Levels
Ford Super Duty trucks are available in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims with increasing levels of comfort and equipment. Several cab and bed configurations are offered, depending on your needs. The F-450 features a double rear wheel axle.
XL models offer black steel bumpers, tow hooks, telescoping tow mirrors, a removable locking tailgate, and tie-down hooks. XLT trims add chrome bumpers, heated mirrors, the BoxLink cargo tie-down system, and a power locking tailgate.
With the Lariat trim, you get power-folding mirrors with LED spotlights and approach lamps. King Ranch models feature running boards and LED box lighting, while the Platinum trim has LED headlights, power-deployable running boards, and an integrated tailgate step.
Engine
Most F-250 and F-350 models come standard with a 6.2-liter V-8 gas engine that generates 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque via either a six- or 10-speed automatic transmission. These models offer the option of a 7.3-liter V-8 gas engine that delivers 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.
Standard in the F-450 and optional for the F-250 and F-350 is a mighty 6.7-liter V-8 turbo diesel that pumps out 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. The latter two are paired with the 10-speed transmission.
Performance
The Super Duty features standard rear-wheel drive and offers the option of four-wheel drive. Depending on the configuration, the F-250 offers a conventional towing capacity of up to 20,000 pounds and up to 22,800 pounds gooseneck towing capacity. The F-450 gives you an astounding maximum gooseneck towing capacity of 37,000 pounds. The F-250 has a payload of up to 4,260 pounds, while the F-350 can haul up to 7,850 pounds.
Interior
XL trims have durable vinyl seats and flooring, air conditioning, and two 12-volt power outlets. The infotainment system has a 4.2-inch center screen, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, voice command, and four- or six-speaker audio. XLT models feature cloth seats, carpets, cruise control, two 110-volt power outlets, an 8-inch touch screen, smartphone integration, and five- or seven-speaker audio.
Stepping up to the Lariat trim gets you leather upholstery, power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable pedals, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and a B&O sound system. King Ranch models offer unique upholstery and trim, memory pedals, a heated steering wheel, navigation, and a wireless charging pad. Platinum and Limited trims feature model-specific interior seating and trim.
Safety
The XL trim's Ford Co-Pilot 360 technology includes a rearview camera and automatic high beams, while the XLT has pre-collision assist with automatic braking, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert and trailer coverage.
The Lariat adds reverse sensors, while the King ranch features a lane-keeping alert and 360-degree camera system. Platinum models have adaptive cruise control with brake support, and the Limited trim adds adaptive steering.
